was very proud to offer its first

"Have a Go with a Bow"

Archery Awareness Camp on June 13th thru' 16th, 2005 at Morgantown's premier special events facility, Mylan Park! 

Young archers came out to

"Have a Go with a Bow"

receiving their Nine Steps to the Ten Ring instruction from certified basic archery instructors, Phil & Mary Ayersman.

The Sportsman's Refuge provided all the necessary equipment including Mathews Genesis & PSE Buckeye Jr. bows, Block field targets, and Easton arrows.

 
 
 
ARCHERY is the sport of millions - a sport that instills confidence, encourages greater attention spans, as well as a willingness of participants to try other sports activities.
 
 
 
ARCHERY is primarily an individual sport that represents a unique opportunity for any individual to learn and enjoy it at his/her own pace, without any pressure from “the team”.
 
ARCHERY teaches patience, concentration, attention to detail, and can be enjoyed throughout life.
